This is the winter MIXTAPE POST.… get into it. I had a great time working on this. I took my time putting the mix together for the past 2 months, that It has a slightly a slow start for an hour long mix but picks up after the intro. I must say this is a great mix to put on your phone,iPod or to stream from my soundcloud wile working out. It tends to keep a solid 140bpm tempo perfect for a run and getting your grunt on with lifting, OR as always put on at a house party or rager. PS ( I tend to review my mixes at the gym for 2 weeks before posting making notes for alterations).. The mix fallows the bible story of Noah’s ark With samples off an old children’s record i picked up at a second hand store that I was looking to use for a fun project.. hope you dig..share the love if you like and tell a friend

Hello, long time no post.

OK so heres a bit of an update and surprise for those who dont know what I’ve been working on lately.

1.I’ve been working on a bunch or original music with friends who have great taste and just wanna have fuuunnn.

2. im starting the WINTER2012Xtape this week.

3. the past 2 weeks I’ve been working on a 2 song EP for the christmas season. 2 friends and I put out retarded minds together to create a Vampire rap group doing christmas songs. WE call it COUNT RHYMEULA. lots of fun and no where near polished but tottaly worth a listen and a bunch of laughs.

Here it is!!!! on the first day of FALL 26new jams to make your face melt. Another mixtape Another season. Last time I was super mellow with the mix just stuff i would be listening to in the car and chilll stuff i was into. I dont want you all to think i went SOFT on you SOOO this mix is probably the most grimie/heavy mix ive done thus far. If you’re not into sick breakdowns weird sounds and feeling awesome dont even bother. Yes, its a heavy ~~dubstep~~ mixtape. ~~dubstep~~just sounds like a dirty word now.(start rant) like mentioning facebook in public or telling people about how many re-posts you tumblr post got. On the for real eff that, im into the music texture, NOT the hype. Its the roots. for many kids into dance music they evolved from skummy indie / hardcore listening music that can relate to the drops and builds not to mention the sick melodies of most dubstep music now n days. (end rant)

YES, its spring and its finally starting to feel like it outside. The past few months have been a sea of change in my life to say the least. Some parts more easily changed others a more difficult shifting of my life similar to maybe the tide of an ocean changing the waters flow effected by the gravity of the moon or in my case the driving force of my life.

To break it down for you im going to be posting 4 times this month with 4 separate parts to a 60 min mix-tape.

why this is good

It gives me a chance to seporate tastes and ganras some like more than others
I can become more creative and change the mood/feel between mixes
You the listener dont need to fast fwd. your ipod 45 min or what ever to get to a part you may like or are looking for
I want to try somthin new … live with it.

The first of the four mixes is composed mainly of the big word in that hip-circle of yours dubstep (wohhhh). Some of the more massive darker jams that i have been hooked on at the moment and had to put them into a mix all themselves. The next few will have a different flavor so don’t go sending nasty face book messages to me yet just wit it out for the next few posts. enjoy..

Over the past few weeks things in my life have been changing. Thorough all of the change,

-i know that there is a the truth that we are all beggars. We are all cups, longing to be filled. Some of us hold more than others and as much as we long to be filled and search for fulfillment its all just a waste unless we are a vessel prepared to hold. I manny times have holes and tears in my cup/self that i chose to be there until i give them up and am repaired. The goal is not to be full but to over flow and fill your neighboring beggars cup in so loving one another.

i had a great time working on a few new projects that i will post as they are ready. thanks for reading and listening.

I apologize for the delay of the post my things were heald captive after the relese party on saturday.

A very big THANK YOU, to everyone who made it out on saturday. It warmed my heart to see so many friendly faces. It seems like this party did so well that we are unfortunately going to have to have more so if you missed out no fears dates will be posted as they are booked @ “THE LOFT”, another big shout to the W.F.R.C. for coming out and holding it down, & DJ purpplepants/S.A.Y. for an awesome opening set, thanks to ZACH & ben-astro-not for opening there doors to some strangers, thanks ALANCANOO /goodalan for documenting the evening via photos.

Broken down i feel this mix was broken up into two 1/2 hours. the first 30:min is more of a dance session fallowed by the next 30:min wich in my mind is a heavyererer dub-step set. not really any sort of decernment between songs just something new and fresh to keep it interesting and not the same 4/4 130bpm all the way thru.i wanted some valleys/lows in the mix to really build the mountains of square waved breakdowns. As to all of my mixes have little drops of personal effects i have collected in the past few months. You would need to look and listen hard to catch the “gems” of this one. For instance -(look at the ALBUM ART on a tilted computer screen).soooooooooooo with out further delay… enjoy the jam

I forgot how awesome this album was/is/will be for all you in the dark. The group is comprised of Modeselektor + Apparat, all awesome producer/djs. Anyway this release is a mix of dubstep, electronica. Good for a evening in or a jam to start the night. There’s a collection of droning beats, darkly clever lyrics, and melodies that skim the edge of your brains. I hope you all enjoy, and again if you already have this, just go back and listen you’ll appreciate it.

I think this is going to be a sick season for basement partys and good music. feel free to check out my boy alans site drivingwithtrucks.com. its a real witty spin on life from a down to earth perspective without having to scrolling 4 -5 pages to get the point.

djworkforce.com went up this week it just makes it easier to give out an address other than the tumblr address. To define what i do as a “DJ” is to press buttons thats about it. Im not a rocket scientist and wouldn’t like to be seen as doing somthing others couldn’t with an ipod. in the same way as you can get a slr camera for christmas and become a photographer by pressing a button and having a flickr account. Give the rite person an ipod and they can make a room move by simple song selection incorporating any sort of medium to manipulate the music just connects the dots and helps smooth the line. Granted i have a jaded view of djing & “THE ARTS” but i think you need to come to the end of yourself and realize your not the first one with that idea, but if it makes you happy doing it, not the fact that your the first one to do it or he acceptance or affect you receive. Thats where true talent and somthing special lives. Its the person that dose what they do because they love it. not looking up to see who is watching or what approval they have from doing so.

Thats all i wanna say about that….
